101 All-Hazard Planning - Intermediate
Crucial to the emergency
management system are emergency operations plans (EOP), which describe
who will do what, as well as when, with what resources, and by what authority--before,
during, and immediately after an emergency.
This State and Local
Guide (SLG) provides emergency managers and other emergency services personnel
with information on FEMA's concept for developing risk-based, all-hazard
emergency operations plans.
This Guide clarifies
the preparedness, response, and short-term recovery planning elements
that warrant inclusion in State and local EOPs.
This course has one
file with seven chapters. The file is less than 941 kilobytes for the
benefit of low bandwidth (14.4 and 28.8 modem) users. The naming protocol
is em101.exe. Graphics may not be optimum in these documents due to originals
and file size considerations.
This
course now includes all seven chapters of SLG 101 rather than the previous
five. The final exam is revised to include these two additional chapters.
This course is comprised
of seven chapters rom FEMA's State and Local Government Planning Guide
(SLG 101) Guide for All-Hazard Emergency Operations Planning. If you desire
